Hunting
There is nothing that quite compares to the thrill of the Hunt! Hire out one of our experienced horses and enjoy a day out you will never forget. Clients can choose from three local packs The Kildares on Mondays and Thursdays, The South County on Saturdays and The North Kildare Farmers on Sundays. Both of the later packs are Drag Hunts.

Breaveheart Trail Ride
This is exclusive to Blessington Lakes Equestrian Centre. We have teamed up with the Kippure House Estate to offer an amazing package for our clients. Starting at our Centre in Lacken, we trek for approximately 3 hours crossing the River Liffey on horseback before entering the picturesque Kippure Estate. Upon arrival clients are shown to their accommodation before a delicious buffet dinner is served. Facilities at the Kippure Estate include a jacuzzi and sauna which are sure to be popular with saddle-sore riders! The Estate boasts 240 acres of beautiful scenery and was the location of several famous movies including Braveheart and Devil's Own. After dinner riders can relax in the cosy bar area and recall the fun-packed day. In the morning after breakfast we trek back to Lacken as the sun rises over the Wicklow hills. There are a limited number of horses for hire for each trail ride and individuals can bring their own horse if they wish. Riders should be comfortable with cantering. Jumps and ditches are available en route for experienced horseriders but all are optional. A change of clothes and waterproof jacket is advised.
